Speaker of the Arab Parliament Condemns Iran's Blatant and Repeated Attacks on Jordan
Cairo, July 29 (KUNA) – Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Yamah strongly condemned today, Wednesday, the targeting of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan by a number of Iranian ballistic missiles, affirming that these repeated hostile acts constitute an unacceptable violation of Jordan’s sovereignty and a blatant threat to its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens.
In a statement, Al-Yamah said the Arab Parliament expresses its full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and supports all measures taken to protect its security and stability and safeguard the integrity of its territory, reiterating his rejection of any aggression that undermines the sovereignty of Arab states or endangers the security and safety of their peoples.
He warned of the consequences of continuing such violations, noting that they undermine efforts to achieve security and stability in the region.
Al-Yamah praised the competence and vigilance of the Jordanian Armed Forces in responding to these attacks by intercepting and shooting down the missiles, affirming that this reflects their high readiness and capability to protect Jordan’s airspace and preserve its security and sovereignty.
