Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Developments and De-escalation Efforts with Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister

Islamabad, July 29 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met today, Wednesday, with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, during his official visit to the capital, Islamabad. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting reviewed the close historical ties linking the two countries and their friendly peoples. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing Kuwait-Pakistan cooperation across various fields and intensifying coordination and consultation on different levels, aiming to elevate bilateral relations to more advanced levels and serve the shared interests of the two friendly nations. The meeting also discussed the latest regional developments and efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions in the region, during which Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah expressed Kuwait’s appreciation for the active diplomatic role played by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in supporting the security and stability of the region.
