Egypt condemns attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia and assaults on Jordan

Cairo, July 29 (KUNA) — Egypt today strongly condemned the targeting of oil facilities in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province and the attacks on Jordan, describing them as unacceptable violations of the sovereignty of states and of civilian and vital infrastructure, a blatant breach of international law, and a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability and undermines global energy security.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt reaffirmed its full solidarity with both Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and its complete support for all measures they are taking to safeguard their security and stability and to protect their sovereignty and vital infrastructure.
It also reiterated its firm rejection of all attacks targeting civilian facilities and vital infrastructure, or those that compromise the security and sovereignty of Arab states. (End) A.S.M. / M.K.
