Bahraini Foreign Minister Condemns Repeated Aggressive Attacks Targeting Jordan
Manama, July 28 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani expressed his country’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the repeated aggressive drone attacks targeting Jordan, which constitute a blatant violation of its sovereignty, a direct threat to its security and stability, and a danger to civilian safety, in contravention of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.
In a phone call with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi, Al Zayani reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its complete support for the measures it is taking to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, commending the effectiveness of its air defenses in countering these attacks.
He reiterated the Kingdom’s call for an immediate and comprehensive halt to all aggressive attacks, which would contribute to de-escalation, reduced tensions, and the preservation of regional security and stability.
For his part, Minister Safadi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Minister Al Zayani for his sincere expressions of solidarity and strong condemnation, noting Bahrain’s supportive stance toward Jordan in all measures taken to protect its security and stability. (End) KH N A / R J
