Saudi and Jordanian Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments in Phone Call

Riyadh, July 28 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks today with his Jordanian counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, on developments in the regional situation. The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the discussion took place during a phone call received by Prince Faisal from his Jordanian counterpart. The call also covered ways to enhance and support joint efforts to preserve regional security and stability and to ensure freedom of maritime navigation in accordance with international law, as well as a renewed condemnation and denunciation of Iran and its affiliated terrorist militias’ attacks on Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region in Yemen and Iraq.
