Kuwait U18 basketball team loses to Qatar in Asian Cup qualifiers

Doha, July 27 (KUNA) – The Kuwait men’s under-18 basketball team suffered a 53-81 defeat to Qatar on Monday in the Gulf region qualifiers for the FIBA Asia Cup U18, held in the Qatari capital, Doha. In the second match, Bahrain emerged victorious over Oman with a score of 94-49. Kuwait had previously lost their opening match to Oman 59-62, and their second game to Bahrain 51-106. The tournament, taking place from July 25 to 30 at the Al Gharafa Sports Hall in Qatar, features five teams: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.
