Egypt condemns attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and reaffirms its full solidarity with the Kingdom

Cairo, July 27 (KUNA) -- Egypt strongly condemned the drone attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that they constitute a violation of its security and stability and an escalation that could undermine peace and stability in the region. In a statement issued by its Foreign Ministry on Monday, Egypt reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for the measures being taken to safeguard its security and stability. It also reiterated its rejection of all acts targeting the Kingdom and other sister Arab countries, calling for an immediate halt to these attacks to preserve the security and stability of the region. Earlier on Monday, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that it had intercepted and destroyed several drones over the past hours that were launched from Iraqi territory and attempted to target oil facilities in the Eastern Province and the Riyadh region.
