Saudi Crown Prince holds phone talks with British Prime Minister on a number of regional and international issues
Jeddah, July 26 (KUNA) -- Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held talks today, Sunday, with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the discussion took place during a telephone call between the Saudi Crown Prince and the British Prime Minister. SPA added that the Crown Prince congratulated Burnham on his appointment, praising the distinguished relations between the two countries and their peoples. For his part, the British Prime Minister expressed his country’s condemnation and rejection of the attacks carried out by the (Houthi) militia and their threats to freedom of navigation in the Red Sea, affirming his country’s support for the security and sovereignty of the Kingdom.
