Lebanon: Death toll from Israeli occupation aggression rises to 4,332
Beirut, July 26 (KUNA) -- Lebanon announced on Sunday that the cumulative total of victims of the Israeli occupation’s aggression since March 2 has risen to 4,332 killed. The Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health said in a statement that the cumulative total of victims of the Israeli occupation’s aggression, resulting from continuous airstrikes and attacks on various Lebanese areas, reached 4,332 killed and 12,236 injured.
On the ground, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli occupation forces carried out a major explosion in the city of Bint Jbeil, the sound of which was heard in various villages across the Bint Jbeil district in southern Lebanon. Earlier today, the Lebanese Army also confirmed that the continued attacks by Israeli occupation forces and their daily violations of existing understandings and international law are hindering the completion of the army’s deployment and preventing residents from returning to their villages and towns, thereby obstructing the establishment of stability in the south.
It is worth noting that these ground developments come amid intense international and American efforts to consolidate the outcomes of the Framework Agreement reached in Washington last month and to extend state authority in order to enhance stability along the international borders.
