The UAE strongly condemns attacks by Israeli settlers on West Bank villages

Abu Dhabi, July 26 (KUNA) -- The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned and denounced the attacks carried out by “Israeli settlers” on villages in the occupied West Bank, including the latest arson attack on a mosque in Tulkarm, describing such acts as provocative and inflammatory toward Muslims and as manifestations of extremism. In a statement issued on Sunday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against the repeated assaults by settlers and called on the Israeli occupation government to bear full responsibility, condemn these practices, and punish those responsible. The ministry emphasized that any failure to act would be construed as tacit approval, thereby deepening the cycle of hatred, racism, and instability. It urged the international community to fulfill its responsibility to halt “Israeli violations” and to avoid further inflaming the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the region. The statement stressed the necessity of supporting all regional and international efforts to revitalize the Middle East peace process, in order to achieve comprehensive and just peace, as well as to put an end to illegal practices that threaten the two-state solution.
