Chief of Staff Discusses Ways to Enhance Military Cooperation with Commanders of the Unified Gulf Command and Peninsula Shield

Kuwait City, July 26 (KUNA) — The Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, met with the Commander of the Unified Military Command of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Lieutenant General Abdulaziz Al-Balawi, and the Commander of the Peninsula Shield Force, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Ruwais, to discuss a number of topics of mutual interest.
The General Headquarters of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces said in a press statement on Sunday that the meeting took place during his reception of the two commanders, during which ways to enhance military cooperation among the armed forces of the GCC member states were discussed, in order to support the progress of joint military operations and strengthen integration among the various military sectors.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Air Force Lieutenant General Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and a number of senior commanding officers from both sides. (End) H.M.D / M.S.A
