Emirati President and British Prime Minister Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations
Abu Dhabi, July 26 (KUNA) -- UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them across various fields, in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed congratulated the British Prime Minister on assuming office, wishing him success in leading his country toward further progress and prosperity. The agency added that both sides reaffirmed their aspiration to continue enhancing UAE-British relations and expanding the horizons of cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples, and that they exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern.
