Kuwait's national basketball team loses to Oman in the FIBA U18 Asian Cup qualifiers

Doha, July 25 (KUNA) – The Kuwait men’s under-18 basketball team lost to Oman in a match played today, Saturday, as part of the Gulf region qualifiers for the FIBA Asia Cup for Under-18 Teams, with a final score of 62-59. The Kuwaiti squad consisted of 12 players: Ali Al-Hindal, Amir Asadullah, Abdulrahman Al-Marzouq, Muasid Al-Obaidi, Abdullah Al-Jarid, Omar Murad, Ahmad Al-Rashid, Yousef Al-Ghanim, Adam Asadullah, Ali Al-Salahi, Faraj Al-Faraj, and Omar Al-Saleh. In the second match, Bahrain secured a 62-54 victory over Saudi Arabia. The qualifiers, which began today in the capital Doha and will run until July 30, feature the national teams of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the Sultanate of Oman.
