Egypt condemns the attack on the Saudi ship and reaffirms its full solidarity with the Kingdom

Cairo, 25 July (KUNA) -- Egypt renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today, Saturday, emphasizing its firm rejection and condemnation of the attack on the Saudi oil tanker. The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stressed in a press statement its unequivocal rejection of all attacks targeting civilian infrastructure and transport, or threatening the security and freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and international waterways. Egypt reaffirmed the paramount importance of respecting, ensuring, and protecting freedom of international navigation in all straits and international passages in the region, in a manner that guarantees the flow of international trade and global supply chains, in line with the provisions of international law and the UN Charter.
