Amman, July 25 (KUNA) — Syrian authorities announced on Saturday that 35 people were killed and 30 others injured in a severe collision between two buses on the highway from the capital Damascus to the city of Deir ez-Zor. The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the accident occurred in the area between Al-Sukhna and Palmyra on the Damascus-Deir ez-Zor highway. The agency noted that the Syrian Ministry of Defense dispatched several vehicles to assist in the medical evacuation of the injured and victims to the Homs Military Hospital. (End) A.M.N / A.B.K
