Gaza Health Authorities: Six dead and 37 injured in the past 48 hours

Gaza City, July 25 (KUNA) -- The health authorities in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that six Palestinians were martyred and 37 others were injured during the past 48 hours due to the continued aggression by the Israeli occupation army against the Strip. In its daily statistical report, the health authorities stated that the six martyrs included four newly martyred individuals, in addition to two who died from wounds sustained earlier. The number of injuries reached 37, with the victims transferred to hospitals for treatment. The authorities noted that the number of martyrs since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11 last year has risen to 1,191, with 3,853 injured. They also pointed out that the cumulative toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,317 martyrs and 173,961 injured. It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire agreement, and has expanded its control over the eastern areas of the Strip, which constitute more than 60 percent of it.
