Four Palestinians martyred by Israeli occupation fire south of Nablus

Ramallah, April 24 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that four Palestinians were martyred early Friday morning by Israeli occupation fire on the outskirts of the town of Tall, south of Nablus in the West Bank. In a press statement, the ministry said that four young Palestinians were killed, while four others were injured by Israeli occupation fire in the town, including three in critical condition. Eyewitnesses said that settlers attacked the outskirts of the town, prompting several youths to confront them, which led to a physical altercation. They added that when the occupation forces arrived, their soldiers opened fire on the youths, resulting in the martyrdom of four and injuries to four others. Video footage filmed by residents of the town showed the moment the occupation patrol arrived at the scene and fired at close range at the youths, preventing residents from reaching them due to the intensity of the gunfire. Meanwhile, local sources confirmed that occupation forces had closed military checkpoints at the entrances to Nablus and shut military gates at the entrances to villages and towns to the west of the city.
