Kuwait's Agriculture Authority confirms it continues to accept applications for the issuance and renewal of grazing licenses and the designation of approved sites

Kuwait City, July 23 (KUNA) -- The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAF) in Kuwait confirmed on Thursday that it continues to accept applications from livestock breeders for the issuance and renewal of grazing permits, the designation of authorized grazing sites across the country, and the definition of approved geographical zones.

In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the PAAAF stated that these measures are part of efforts to regulate grazing activities to ensure the protection of vegetation cover, promote environmental sustainability, and prevent encroachments in wild areas.

The authority reiterated the ongoing ban on grazing or approaching vital facilities, military zones, nature reserves, oil fields, pipeline routes, and residential areas. It called on all breeders to fully comply with laws and regulations and to avoid prohibited sites.

The PAAAF emphasized that legal action will be taken against violators following the expiration of the grace period, which ends on October 1 of next year. (End) F.R.
