Minister of Awqaf: The government program for family protection is a landmark initiative that embodies the state's cohesion in safeguarding society

Kuwait City, July 23 (KUNA) – Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohammed Al-Wasmi affirmed that the government program for family protection represents a distinctive initiative endorsed by all members of the government, reflecting the state’s cohesion with the family to safeguard this vital component of society. This statement was made by Minister Al-Wasmi during the inaugural meeting of the government program for family protection, attended by Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, Minister of Justice Advisor Nasser Al-Samit, Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs and Acting Minister of Media and Culture Omar Al-Omar, along with a number of officials and representatives of the government entities participating in the program.
Minister Al-Wasmi praised the substantial support provided by the political leadership to such programs aimed at family protection, describing the government program as comprehensive. He noted that this support has a profound impact on Kuwait’s direction toward family protection, emphasizing that this approach is continuous and authentic, not a recent development.
