Foreign Minister holds phone conversation with Irish Foreign Minister

Kuwait City, July 22 (KUNA) -- Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held a telephone conversation today, Wednesday, with Helen McEntee, Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence. The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Sheikh Jaraah Al-Sabah congratulated McEntee on Ireland’s assumption of the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union, wishing her success during its tenure. The statement added that the call also reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, as well as discussed current developments in the region.
