"Al-Saddu Through Artistic Eyes": Al-Saddu Artisans Association Exhibition Featuring 36 Visual Artists

Kuwait City, July 21 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Handicrafts Al-Sadu Association launched the evening of Tuesday at the Al-Sadu House the exhibition “Al-Sadu Through Artistic Eyes,” which blends the authenticity of heritage with artistic creativity through artworks inspired by Al-Sadu patterns and their aesthetic details. The exhibition features 36 amateur visual artists who presented diverse artistic visions that reflect their inspiration from Al-Sadu ornaments and its heritage symbols, employing different styles and techniques. The exhibition brings together multiple artistic schools, including realism, abstraction, and impressionism, among others, in a single creative canvas that underscores Al-Sadu as a continuous source of inspiration for artists across different artistic orientations. The exhibition will remain open to visitors until August 6 to showcase a distinguished collection of works celebrating Al-Sadu as one of the most prominent elements of Kuwait’s cultural heritage. The organization of the exhibition comes within the framework of the Kuwait Handicrafts Al-Sadu Association’s efforts to raise awareness of the value of Al-Sadu and encourage artists to draw inspiration from national heritage elements in their creative works, thereby contributing to the preservation of this cultural legacy and highlighting its presence in contemporary arts.
