Bahrain's Crown Prince and Lebanon's Prime Minister Discuss Developments in Regional and International Affairs

Manama, July 21 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa held a telephone conversation with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Tuesday to discuss the latest developments in the regional and international arenas and issues of mutual interest. The Bahrain News Agency reported that the Lebanese prime minister expressed his condemnation of Iran’s despicable and ongoing attacks against the Kingdom of Bahrain, reaffirming Lebanon’s steadfast support for Bahrain in safeguarding its security and sovereignty. For his part, the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude for Lebanon’s positions and its sincere feelings of solidarity and support for the Kingdom of Bahrain. The call also underscored the deep, close fraternal relations between Bahrain and Lebanon and the mutual commitment to continuing to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries in pursuit of shared objectives.
