Three Palestinians martyred in new Israeli airstrike in central Gaza City

Gaza, July 21 (KUNA) -- Three Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured today, Tuesday, as a result of an Israeli occupation aircraft strike that targeted a residential apartment in the Samer area in central Gaza, raising the death toll to 12 since dawn. Health authorities stated in a press release that the bodies of the three martyrs and several of the injured were brought to Al-Shifa Medical Complex following the strike on the apartment, while ambulance and civil defense teams continued to evacuate the injured and conduct search operations at the site. This strike comes hours after a series of Israeli occupation aircraft raids targeted several areas in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of nine Palestinians, including six members of a single family, whose bodies were retrieved from a home hit by shelling in Gaza City. Additionally, a Palestinian was martyred after a civilian vehicle was targeted northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp, and a Palestinian woman died from injuries sustained in a previous strike. Consequently, the death toll in the Gaza Strip since dawn has risen to 12, including four children, amid ongoing military operations by the occupation army across various parts of the Strip and growing anger among Palestinians over the massacres perpetrated by the Israeli occupation.
