Five Palestinians martyred in strike on residential home in Gaza City

Gaza, July 18 (KUNA) -- Health authorities announced on Saturday that five Palestinians were martyred and several others were seriously injured following an Israeli air strike on a residential home in western Gaza City. In a press statement, the authorities said that ambulance crews recovered the bodies of five Palestinians, including a young girl, after the strike hit a home in the Al-Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City. Witnesses told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the shelling caused extensive damage to the site, while emergency and civil defense teams continued search operations amid the rubble, amid fears that the death toll could rise. This brings the number of martyrs since dawn to eight Palestinians, including three children. (End)
