Jordan condemns Iran’s despicable attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain and the targeting of electricity and water infrastructure

Amman, July 18 (KUNA) — Jordan today condemned the renewed brazen Iranian attacks on Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, including the targeting of a power station and a water desalination plant. In a press statement, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described these actions as a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the two countries, a threat to their security and stability, and a danger to their territorial integrity. It further characterized them as a dangerous escalation and a gross violation of international law and the UN Charter. The ministry reaffirmed Jordan’s absolute solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain, and its steadfast support for them in all measures they take to safeguard their sovereignty, security, and the safety of their citizens and residents.
