UAE Foreign Minister Discusses Middle East Developments with His Russian Counterpart

Abu Dhabi, July 18 (KUNA) -- The UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held a telephone conversation today, Saturday, with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to discuss regional and international developments and the situation in the Middle East. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the two sides discussed ways to enhance efforts aimed at achieving security, stability, and sustainable peace in the region, in line with the aspirations of their peoples for development and prosperity. The agency added that the call also addressed a number of topics of mutual interest related to bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in a manner that serves their mutual interests.
