Eight Palestinians martyred in a new massacre committed by the Israeli occupation in the middle of the Gaza Strip

Gaza, July 17 (KUNA) -- Eight Palestinians were martyred and more than 20 others were injured today, Friday, in a new massacre carried out by the Israeli occupation forces at the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Gaza health authorities stated that eight martyrs and more than 20 injured individuals were taken to hospitals following an Israeli occupation airstrike that targeted a group of Palestinians participating in the funeral procession of a martyr who had been killed earlier in another airstrike on the camp. They noted that many of the injured are in critical condition. Statistics issued by hospitals in the Gaza Strip indicated that the number of martyrs since dawn today has risen to 14 as a result of airstrikes launched by the occupation on various areas in the Gaza Strip.
