Tunis, July 17 (KUNA) -- The Arab Interior Ministers Council today strongly condemned Iran’s egregious aggression against Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan, expressing its full solidarity and absolute support for the targeted Arab states. In a statement, the General Secretariat noted that the Council received with utmost indignation news of Iran’s malicious attack using ballistic missiles and drones on Friday morning against Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Qatar, deeming it a blatant violation of international law and the principles of good neighborliness. The Council emphasized that this brutal aggression, which warrants firm condemnation, falls within Iran’s continuous hostile conduct and its persistent efforts to undermine regional security and stability and to threaten international peace and security. In this regard, it reaffirmed its full solidarity and absolute support for Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, and all other Arab states in all measures they undertake to safeguard their security, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of their citizens and residents.
