Iraqi Kurdistan: Eight killed and others injured in missile strike on Iranian opposition headquarters in Sulaymaniyah
Erbil, July 17 (KUNA) -- The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) announced the death of eight of its members and injuries to others following an attack that targeted its main headquarters in the Sulaymaniyah province of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq early Friday morning. The association stated in a press release that its main headquarters in Zarkoyezla, in Sulaymaniyah province, was hit by six missiles and caught fire. Earlier in the day, the Kurdistan Region's General Directorate for Counter-Terrorism announced that coalition forces intercepted and destroyed eight bomb-laden drones in the city's skies, with no casualties reported.
