(Qatari Interior Ministry): Child injured after being struck by debris from interception operations

Doha, July 17 (KUNA) -- The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced on Friday that a child was injured after being struck by fragments resulting from interception operations, noting that he is receiving the necessary medical care. In a statement, the ministry said that security authorities and civil defense teams initiated their procedures in accordance with approved response plans, as part of continuous monitoring of field developments following the Iranian attack that targeted Qatar earlier today. It stressed the importance of obtaining information exclusively from official sources and refraining from circulating rumors or disseminating any unverified information, images, or clips to avoid legal liability. The Qatari Interior Ministry added that the relevant security authorities continue their work with full readiness around the clock, enhancing response speed and ensuring the preservation of community security and safety, as well as the uninterrupted provision of services.
