Israel's Knesset votes to dissolve itself and sets election date

Ramallah, July 17 (KUNA) -- The Knesset, Israel’s parliament, voted early Friday to dissolve itself and set a date for parliamentary elections. Israeli media reported that the Knesset approved its own dissolution after passing the “Political Parties Financing” bill in its second and third readings, which included a provision to advance the election date.
