(Defense): We intercepted and engaged 32 hostile drones detected within Kuwaiti airspace

Kuwait City, July 16 (KUNA) – The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, stated that the Armed Forces had intercepted and dealt with 32 hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn on Thursday. In a press statement, Colonel Al-Atwan said that the reprehensible Iranian aggression resulted in the targeting of vital facilities in the country. He added that the interception of hostile targets led to debris falling in several residential areas, causing material damage without any recorded injuries. He reaffirmed that the Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties and responsibilities with efficiency and competence, within the framework of continuous readiness and constant preparedness, thereby enhancing national security and safeguarding the safety of citizens and residents.
