Kuwait Chief of Staff Discusses Ways to Develop Bilateral Cooperation with Turkish Defense Minister

Kuwait City, July 16 (KUNA) -- Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, and Turkish Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler discussed topics and issues of mutual interest and ways to support and develop bilateral cooperation across various fields. The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army said in a press statement on Thursday that this came during Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan’s official visit to Turkey, where he met with Minister Güler in the capital, Ankara, reviewed joint cooperation, and exchanged friendly remarks, reflecting the deep and close relations between the two friendly countries. It is worth noting that during the visit, Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan also met with the Chief of the Turkish General Staff, General Salih Köktaş, to review military and defense cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to develop and strengthen them. According to the statement, the Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army and the accompanying delegation returned to the country on Thursday evening following the conclusion of the visit.
