Iran: Qeshm Island and Bandar Abbas city in the south targeted by US missiles

Tehran, July 16 (KUNA) -- Iranian local authorities announced on Thursday that areas in Qeshm Island and the city of Bandar Abbas in Hormozgan Province in the south of the country had been targeted by American projectiles. Iranian Mehr News Agency quoted local authorities in Hormozgan as saying that the new American attacks had not yet resulted in casualties or damage to residential and commercial infrastructure in the province. The agency noted that Bandar Abbas had been targeted in two waves by American projectiles.
