(Defense): Detection of 4 cruise missiles and 21 hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace, and their engagement and interception

Kuwait City, July 15 (KUNA) – Kuwait Defense Ministry spokesperson Colonel Saud Al-Atwan announced that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces had detected four cruise missiles and 21 hostile unmanned aerial vehicles within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn on Wednesday, adding that they were intercepted and neutralized. In a press statement, Colonel Al-Atwan said that the reprehensible Iranian aggression resulted in attacks on vital facilities in the country, causing material damage but no reported human casualties. He reaffirmed that the armed forces continue to carry out their duties and responsibilities with efficiency, under conditions of continuous readiness and constant preparedness, in order to enhance national security and safeguard the safety of citizens and residents.
