Chief of Staff Assures Well-being of Several Kuwait Navy Personnel Injured in the Blameworthy Iranian Aggression

Kuwait City, July 14 (KUNA) – Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, paid a visit to several members of the Kuwait Naval Force who were injured as a result of the reprehensible Iranian aggression, to ensure their well-being and follow up on the medical care being provided to them. The General Headquarters of the Armed Forces stated in a statement issued today, Tuesday, that Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan listened to a briefing from the medical team regarding the health condition of the injured. According to the statement, the Chief of the General Staff commended the efforts made by medical personnel in providing the necessary care, and wished the injured a speedy recovery, along with continued health and wellness. Earlier, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, stated that the Armed Forces had intercepted and dealt with one ballistic missile, five cruise missiles, and 33 hostile drones “since the evening of Tuesday until now.” In a press statement, Al-Atwan clarified that the reprehensible Iranian aggression resulted in the targeting of several vital and civilian facilities, with debris falling in various locations across the country, causing material damage. He added that one of the vessels belonging to the Kuwait Naval Force was targeted, resulting in injuries to four members of the Armed Forces, who received medical care and treatment, and whose condition is stable.
