Minister of Social Affairs and Labour discusses with the Human Building Association the implementation of joint social initiatives

Kuwait City, July 14 (KUNA) -- Dr. Amthal Al-Hawila, Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, and Social Affairs, held talks today, Tuesday, with the leadership of the Human Building Association to explore avenues for cooperation in implementing social initiatives in partnership with specialized United Nations organizations and with support from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
In a statement to the press following the coordination meeting, Al-Hawila said that the ministry and all its affiliated entities are fully prepared to mobilize their resources and expertise to build bridges of joint cooperation to achieve integration. She explained that this collaboration aims to enhance the services provided by the ministry to all segments of society, based on the principles of empowerment and justice, to ensure the sustainability of impact.
She noted that the meeting reviewed the details of initiatives that include providing accredited training programs and rehabilitation projects tailored for persons with disabilities, released prisoners, the elderly, and orphans. Al-Hawila clarified that these programs primarily aim to empower these groups, transitioning them from the umbrella of social welfare programs to a stage of financial independence, as well as professional and personal development.
The Human Building Association for Social Development is a Kuwaiti public benefit association that aims to provide specialized training courses for social welfare beneficiaries, enhance human development, and create job opportunities for them, alongside supporting business incubator projects, thereby contributing to their effective integration into society and the labor market.
