51 Dead and Thousands Injured in Bangladesh Floods and Landslides
New Delhi, July 12 (KUNA) -- At least 51 people have been killed and tens of thousands injured or affected by floods and landslides triggered by seasonal rains across Bangladesh. According to data released today by Bangladesh’s Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, the floods and landslides caused by heavy seasonal rains have claimed the lives of 51 people, while tens of thousands of those affected have been impacted in seven provinces of Bangladesh. The most severely affected areas include Khagrachhari, Rangamati, Bandarban, Cox’s Bazar, Chittagong, Moulvibazar, and Habiganj.
