Pakistan and Iran Discuss Regional Developments
Islamabad, July 12 (KUNA) -- Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation today with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, to discuss regional developments. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Minister Dar emphasized during the call that all parties must follow a path of de-escalation and exercise restraint, in line with the understanding reached in the Islamabad Memorandum signed in June 2026. The statement affirmed that Minister Dar stressed that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable means to resolve conflicts and achieve lasting peace and stability in the region.
