Amman, July 10 (KUNA) -- Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, on Friday condemned the reprehensible Iranian attacks on Arab states and everything that undermines their security, sovereignty, stability, and the well-being of their peoples. The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that this came during a phone call between Minister Safadi and his Egyptian counterpart, during which they discussed current developments and the repercussions of the dangerous escalation unfolding in the region. The statement noted that the Jordanian foreign minister stressed that his country would continue to take all necessary and available steps to protect its citizens, security, stability, and sovereignty, while reaffirming Jordan’s absolute solidarity with the brotherly Gulf Cooperation Council states in all measures they undertake to confront Iranian aggression and safeguard their citizens, security, and stability.
