His Highness the Prime Minister Receives the Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India

Kuwait, July 8 (KUNA) – His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, today received the Minister of External Affairs of the friendly Republic of India, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country. The meeting discussed bilateral cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of India and ways to develop it, as well as the exchange of views on the latest developments in the regional and international arenas. Attending the meeting were Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Acting Head of the Prime Minister’s Diwan Sheikh Khaled Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Republic of India Meshal Mustafa Al-Shammari, and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Asian Affairs Nawaf Abdul Latif Al-Ahmad.
