UAE condemns and denounces terrorist plots in Morocco, reaffirming its full solidarity with the country

Abu Dhabi, July 6 (KUNA) -- UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed the United Arab Emirates’ strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist plots thwarted in the Kingdom of Morocco, which aimed at seriously undermining public order, personal security, and property, in logistical coordination and operational support with the so-called “Islamic State” (ISIS) branch in the Sahel region. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on Monday, affirmed his country’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Morocco and its steadfast support for all measures it takes to safeguard its security and stability, ensure the safety of its citizens and residents, and protect its national achievements. He praised the competence and vigilance of Moroccan security agencies, which successfully thwarted these plots and uncovered their operatives. He stressed the UAE’s unequivocal rejection of all forms of terrorism and extremism, and of anything that could destabilize the security and stability of states, emphasizing the importance of enhancing regional and international cooperation to confront and counter these threats.
