Turkish President Discusses Bilateral Relations and Regional and International Issues with Canadian Prime Minister

Istanbul, April 7 (KUNA) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney discussed bilateral relations and regional and international issues. This came in a telephone call on Saturday, according to a statement issued by the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidency via the Turkish platform “X” (formerly Twitter). According to the statement, Erdogan said that his country is working to elevate relations with Canada to a higher level in many areas, foremost among them trade, security, defense industry, and energy.
