Qatari Prime Minister Discusses Latest Regional Developments with Libyan Unity Government Prime Minister

Doha, June 4 (KUNA) -- The Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, held talks today with Libyan National Unity Government (NUG) head Abdulhamid Dbeibah on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation ties and the latest developments in the regional arena. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting took place during the Qatari prime minister’s reception of the Libyan NUG head in the Qatari capital, Doha. According to the statement, the Qatari prime minister reiterated Qatar’s steadfast position supporting Libyan unity and realizing its people’s aspirations for stability and development, as well as its full backing of Libya’s political process and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, along with all peaceful solutions that preserve Libyan sovereignty.
