His Highness the Amir receives Lebanese Minister of Interior on the occasion of his official visit to Kuwait

Kuwait City, June 29 (KUNA) — His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received today His Excellency Ahmad Al-Hajjar, Minister of Interior and Municipalities of the sisterly Lebanese Republic, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his official visit to the country. During the meeting, His Excellency conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Excellency General Joseph Aoun, President of the Lebanese Republic, to His Highness the Amir, along with best wishes for His Highness’s continued health and well-being, and for the people of Kuwait to enjoy further development and prosperity.

His Highness the Amir, in turn, conveyed his greetings to His Excellency the President of the Lebanese Republic, wishing him continued health and well-being, and expressing hopes for the continued progress and prosperity of the sisterly Lebanese Republic and its people.

The meeting reviewed the close fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, and discussed ways to enhance and develop these ties across various fields, as well as to support cooperation between the two sisterly countries in ways that serve their mutual interests and shared concerns.

Present at the meeting were His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Saud Al-Sabah; His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Diwan Amiri Affairs; His Excellency Brigadier General (Retired) Jamal Al-Diyab, Director of the Office of His Highness the Amir; His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshal Al-Mubarak Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Secretary of the Diwan Amiri; and His Excellency Mazen Isa Al-Isa, Deputy Secretary for Foreign Affairs at the Diwan Amiri.
