The Supreme Purchasing Committee of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation approved awarding two separate contracts for the supply of mobile offshore drilling rigs to Kuwait Oil Company to ADNOC Drilling Company PJSC, with a maximum cost of approximately 96.55 million dinars.
According to a report by “Al-Kuwait Al-Youm,” the committee stated that it had reviewed the company’s letter regarding the request, and after discussion, decided to award the two separate contracts for the rigs (Rig-1 and Rig-2) to the bid submitted by ADNOC Drilling, considering it the lowest bidder and the bid that fully complied with the conditions and specifications outlined in the tender documents.
