Launch of electronic service for issuing medical liability certificates via the services portal

Translated by Qiyas from الجريدة — Original source

The Medical Accountability Authority under the Ministry of Health announced the launch of the “Request a Certificate for Whom It May Concern” service via the e-services portal, a move aimed at developing services, facilitating procedures for beneficiaries, saving time and effort, and enabling them to complete their transactions remotely without the need to visit the Authority in person.

The service allows applicants to submit requests, pay fees, and receive certificates electronically. It covers three types of certificates: a Non-Objection Certificate, a Complaints Report, and a Certificate of Penalties and Complaints Under Review Referred to the Authority.

The Medical Accountability Authority set the fee for issuing the certificate at 20 Kuwaiti Dinars. The transaction will be completed and the certificate issued within three working days from the date of fee payment, and the certificate will be valid for three months.

The Authority explained that users can access the service by visiting the Authority’s website, selecting “Services” and then “Request Certificates,” logging in via the “Huwiyati” application and completing authentication, specifying the applicant’s status and the type of certificate, entering contact details, completing the form, and attaching any required documents before submitting the request.

After reviewing and approving the request, the user will receive a notification via the “Sahel” application to pay the fees electronically through the “Ki Net” service. Once the certificate is issued, it can be downloaded from the e-services portal, and a copy will also be sent via the “Sahel” application.
