The Office of International Media in Qatar stated that circulating reports on social media, which claim that the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar declared that the United States and Iran failed to reach an agreement, are baseless and misleading.
It pointed out that these statements have been systematically distorted by parties benefiting from the continuation of war and instability in our region; fake accounts are disseminating a large number of such claims in an effort to thwart diplomatic efforts and push for further escalation, an act that is highly irresponsible.
Qatar’s mediation continues to coordinate closely with the United States and Iran to support the ongoing negotiations.
