The Public Authority for Manpower issued Circular No. (16) of 2026 regarding the regulations governing professional attire and appearance for its employees, as part of its commitment to strengthening institutional identity and reinforcing a professional image before the public. The circular includes a set of controls related to professional appearance, the most prominent of which are: the obligation to wear the official identification badge visibly throughout working hours; choosing clothing in subdued colors that present a decent, clean, and neat appearance; avoiding flashy attire or garments bearing inappropriate slogans; refraining from excessive use of accessories; and the requirement to cover tattoos during work hours.
It stressed that violation of its provisions constitutes an administrative offense, warranting a warning to the offender via a memo through the correspondence system for the first offense, with prescribed disciplinary measures to be taken in case of recurrence. Direct supervisors are tasked with monitoring compliance with these controls.
