Kuwait Insurance & Reinsurance Appoints Mubarak Al-Nisf as CEO

The Board of Directors of Kuwait Insurance and Reinsurance Company (KIRC) has appointed Mishaari Abdulrazzaq Al-Nassif as Chief Executive Officer, a move aimed at continuing the company’s progress and strengthening its strategy for sustainable growth and business development in the insurance sector.

Al-Nassif possesses extensive professional experience in the insurance and investment sectors. He joined Kuwait Insurance in 2009 and progressed through various managerial and leadership roles, most notably as Head of the Investment Department and Company Secretary of the Board of Directors, thereby gaining expertise in investment management, corporate governance, and the company’s strategic affairs.

Currently, Mishaari Al-Nassif also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Islamic Takaful Insurance Company, in addition to his membership on the Board of Directors of Kuwait Reinsurance Company and its Audit Committee, reflecting his expertise in insurance, reinsurance, governance, and corporate oversight.

Academically, Al-Nassif holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from the University of Denver in the United States. He has further enhanced his academic and professional qualifications by obtaining two certificates from Harvard University in Leadership, Management, and Mergers and Acquisitions Strategies, alongside professional certifications in the insurance sector and specialized certifications in anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism.
